Shame on me
Mood:  surprised
Now Playing: Justin Timberlake (yes, I'm a dork)
Topic: Miscellaneous goings-on
Didn't vote yesterday. I felt that I shouldn't vote without knowing something about the candidates that are running. I'm thinking that I should change my party affiliation to independent, because I just don't belong in either party, really. I have the weirdest political opinions.

Pseudo-boss has walked by my desk about five times in the last half hour, he's driving me crazy. He drags his feet when he walks, too -- which is about to send me over the edge, I swear. Oh, big shocker, he just walked by again. AHHHH!!!! Ahh, now I hear him jumping out of his chair and the chair rolling into the bookcase. Ugh. Why can't he just sit still???

Hotels in Boston are really freaking expensive. Even the low-end ones are over $100 a night. Sheesh! I'm definitely using Priceline for this trip. As long as I'm going to pay that kind of money, I might as well get something good, right? I'm really excited about this trip... it will be fun exploring Boston with Kurtis. In my research today I also found out that the LOTR exhibit (that is currently in London I believe) is coming to their Museum of Science in August... so we're going to have to make another trip later this year, haha.

Pseudo-boss just came out to bother me. His white-out pen ran out, so he wanted to know if I had any. What do I look like, a freaking supply cabinet?!?! People don't seem to understand that the supply room is downstairs. What you see is what you get, you know?

What I wouldn't give for him to just sit at his desk quietly for one whole day. I bet that he couldn't do it. I would even let him have 5 trips past my desk a day. (oh look, there he goes again! that makes twice in five minutes!)

*sigh*

I'm going to wrap up for today. Honestly I haven't done much work...just can't seem to get into anything today.

I can tell that you really secretly love your pseudo-boss!!! Wonder how many more times he walked past you by the time you left today...

I didn't vote yesterday either. By the time we got back from dr. and hot tub, I was just too damn tired and harried to go back out and vote, even though polls would have still been open for another 40 minutes. Wasn't going to rush through dinner after I'd already missed lunch. So, guess I also fall into the ashamed category. Plus, I haven't kept up w/issues with all the chaos at this point. I'll vote in general election w/o fail. By then I'll have plenty of time to research candidates and issues. I'm registered as Democrat not because I vote straight Democratic, which I don't, but because most of the candidates I choose ARE democrats, and if you register as independent, you can't vote in primaries at all. So person you might pick for general election may not even get into final running and you might have selected them if you had registered as one party or the other and voted for them in the primaries. I'm sure you already have the website, but in the very remote chance you don't, I can give one to you: OnTheIssues.org. It lists everybodies positions on different stuff. (have to admit I haven't gone there myself yet - somebody told me about it).

Anyhow, by now you should be happily home fixing dinner and listening to Kurtis play his guitar. Re: hotels in MA. Let me know what you find, because if at all possible, we will be going up too, or at least I will. $100/nite is ungodly steep. Don't they have any Motel 6s?

Hope you had fun Sunday afternoon - I sure did.

Got to go and feed the furry friends and fix dinner and study. More later :)
