Been a while since I've done this... Mood: silly Now Playing: a mixed CD from 3 years ago.......... ahh... memories! Topic: Jokes & Funny stuff
I don't know why this affected me so much, but I just about fell out of my chair laughing at this one...... maybe it was 'the drunks are prohibited to ride'... or maybe it was 'the black hole of fantastic cosmic space'.... that's some funny shit. God I love that site.
And that's some nasty shit, too... I can't believe people actually eat that crap.
Then again, people do eat sushi.
All you sushi-eating people, you are craaaaaaaazy.
Then again, quite a few of my closest friends like sushi... I don't know what's wrong with them... but I've learned the stuff that I can order at sushi restaurants now. I actually like tempora... that's some good stuff. I'll get Lunch Combo A or B at Tokyo Sushi when I go there with Kathy. I'm not saying that I'll never try sushi again... I might. It's just going to take a lot of coaxing.

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) - Oklahoma highway users wishing to call the state about electronic payment passes were mistakenly directed to a sex hotline. Oklahoma Transportation Authority spokeswoman Brigette Berglan said the state's turnpike authority had made an error in a letter sent to 41,000 people. One digit was wrong in the telephone number for callers seeking advice on how to deal with toll gate payments.
Instead, they found themselves calling a sex line where they could speak with "exciting people," such as lonely housewives, students and fantasy girls for $2.99 a minute.
"We're not that exciting here at the authority. We prefer to think of ourselves as helpful," Berglan said.
Those who received the incorrect notice were sent a postcard with the correct number.

First, here is the Engrish of the day...
Secondly, I saw Phantom of the Opera last night... was going to see Meet the Fockers, but decided to be cultured instead. I thought it was never going to end! Ugh. Don't get me wrong, I loooooooove the music, but it was too long. I also didn't care for the guy they cast as the phantom... probably the most superbly casted role was Carlotta, everyone else was rather mediocre. Just a warning.

301st post! Mood: a-ok Now Playing: Chris Isaak Topic: Jokes & Funny stuff
This is my 301st post....... I'm surprised that I've actually stuck with this thing! I believe that I started this blog at the end of November of last year, so I've been pretty good at keeping it current, even if I have a week here and there where I take some days off *cough* ahem *cough*
I get my first big essay (100 pointer) back tonight... I'm excited, but a bit apprehensive as well. I reaaally want to get an A on it, and I think that I might be disappointed if I get below that... I just feel like I spent too many hours on it to get anything less. But of course I got my 2nd response from smarthinking.com at 5pm on the day my paper was due, so I wasn't able to make any more revisions to it. :-/ Oh well, we shall see!
Tonight my beloved Redskins will play the not-so-beloved Cowboys. Hopefully it will be a good game, and if it's one-sided, hopefully it will be one-sided on the Skins scoring side. ;-) The weather isn't supposed to be very good, and since the Cowboys have been doing their own west coast offense with good ole' Vinny (and doing a decent job at it, might I add), they may have trouble running the ball. I believe that the Skins are #1 at stopping the run, so maybe they can shut them down. Portis had better have more runs like that first run he had in the game against Tampa. Oh well. We'll see, I guess. I'll have to tell my psych teacher that I have to leave at 8:50 to make sure I catch the game, hehe.
Anyway, I just saw this on Engrish.com and thought it was too funny not to share... this picture was my real reason for posting!

David Bowie was impaled by a lollipop while on tour in Norway! Check out the picture!! I found the pictures on a Norwegian site, so unfortunately I can't read the whole story.. maybe I should email Kibs and see if he'll translate it for me. :-P~ If you want to see the site, google "David Bowie" and "lollipop" and it's one of the first pages.
In other news, we'd better not let James out of the house... from the weird news today:
MARSEILLE, France (Reuters) - The southern French city of Marseille called off a three-week hunt for a black panther on Tuesday after the animal sighted by several residents turned out to be a large house cat.
"The 'panther' is just a black house cat -- a very big one though," said a spokeswoman for the local prefecture, adding the animal was about 24 inches long and weighed some 22 pounds.
Police deployed dozens of searchers this month after reports that a blank panther was roaming around the nearby Calanques area, popular with tourists for its creeks, rocks and beaches.
Searchers finally caught up with the animal and identified it as a cat but were still unable to catch it, the spokeswoman added.
How the hell do you mistake a cat for a friggin' panther?!?!? Even if it was 2 feet long! I'm sure that James is at least that long, and I would have a very hard time mistaking him for a panther. If I lived in France, I'd be ashamed of myself.

You are Buffy
You are Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You are one cool chick. You didn't ask to be the Slayer, but you still do a bang-up job of killing demons and protecting the innocent- and looking great doing it. Go you!
You come from the Ocean. You've always been drawn to the sea, the sound of the waves, the crystal blue water, near the sea is where you belong.
