sooooooooo shleepy
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Weekend happenings
Just woke up from my nap a little bit ago... now I'm researching cell phones... I've been meaning/wanting to get another one for a while now, but haven't. So I haven't decided which company I'm going to go with yet, but I am going to do pay as you go again, since I don't know how much I'll be using it. I'm thinking either Verizon again, or maybe Virgin mobile... they seem to have a pretty reasonable plan/absence of plan. I'll probably check out AT&T, too.

I'll write more about my murder game audition later, maybe next week... too tired to talk about it now, haha. But overall, I think that it went well. Hopefully I'll get a callback. Nevermind, I'll tell the rest of it. I read for the two characters that I mentioned before, I think I did a better job with the Trish character, but who knows. It took forever to get in and read for the Lucy part, about 2 1/4 hours, so I was late to lunch with my mom, and consequentially was STARVING... so instead of having a salad, I had their crack of dawn breakfast... multigrain pancakes, eggs, and bacon... I didn't eat the whole thing at least. Anyway, I didn't get to read for both the parts I wanted, so I decided to go back and read for the Trish part, which I'm very glad that I did... auditions were open until 6, and I got there around 5:30... there were only 4 people there when I got there, so I had hardly any wait time that time. The first reading I did, there were probably 25 or 30 people waiting... I wasn't really prepared for all that! But I tried to be relaxed and everything. I don't know when I'll find out if I got a callback, it might be as long as a month.

Speaking of movies, the Untouchable Films group is waiting on their new 'puter, so they haven't edited the movie yet. I imagine I'll have the DVD in mid September.

I've exercised every day this weekend... this morning Kurt and I walked the trail at Kinder Farm Park.

The scale is broken though, so now I don't know how much weight I've lost. I feel like I've lost, but the scale is all whacked-out. Guess I'll have to just say I've lost 20. :-P~

That's it for now. I'm tired and distracted, I'm sure this post is all over the place.

I've been researching cell phones, too. What provider are you going to use? I read that Sprint has a big dead spot around where you live. I wasn't happy with my Moto 120c because it had dropouts in Hobbs and generally was hard to hear. I bought a Moto Timeport 8767 at a yard sale for $1.
The top was torn off but I bought 2 more (slightly different models) on ebay for $5.50. Verizon & Sprint are both CDMA. Anyway, I put the 3 of them together & got my number switched over (cost $20). It's a much better phone than I had. There are 2 batteries; I'm using parts from one of the other phones as a charger. I've read comments stating that recent Motorola phones have declined in basic functionality (full of games and inadequately implemented PDA functions). Did I show you my new Clie PDA, by the way? My Revos both broke & I ordered the Clie before I repaired them. Do you want one? I think the Revo is better in some ways.
The best phone overall, I think,
is the LG VX-6000. If I used my phone much I'd probably get one of those. The only drawback is that it isn't ti-mode and sometimes I've noticed that the 8767 defaults to analogue. The LG VX-4400 is tri-mode and another good choice. The VX-6000 retails for only $199. Both of these phones are CDMA, so you'd have to sign up with Verizon. I think buying a $30 card very 60 days is the best deal around. When I got my new number, they gave me back some hours that I had lost so if you don't talk much, the hours really accumulate. I have hundreds of prime time hours now.

I dropped my scale & it doesn't work either. Not in the mood to fix it yet.

Congrats on your exercising & movie career.

Love, Dad
